Train within Australia’s largest spa-network and become an expert in skin, health and wellness. But most of all, discover how you can help others feel their best with industry-leading Beauty Therapy training. We’re also all about making study work for you, with a choice of study options to suit your lifestyle.
Based at our Docklands campus, you’ll learn a wide range of treatments, from Waxing and Tinting, Nutrition right through to eyelash extensions and spa services. Discover your first step into the beauty and wellness industry, gain hands-on experience and graduate a caring, confident and spa-ready therapist.
Over 70% of graduates are working in the beauty, health and wellness industry, while over 80% are working in the endota spa network.

This course is delivered through a blend of online, on-campus practical sessions and in the workplace experience.

2 consecutive days (Mon & Tue: 9am – 5pm) on campus

1 day online (Wed: 9am – 3pm) per week for 9 months.

Graduate career opportunities
Commence your career as a Beauty Therapist or Spa Receptionist within the beauty industry or take the next step in your career by completing your Diploma of Beauty Therapy.
Post graduate study pathways
eWC offers you the possibility of completing your SHB40121 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy or SHB50121 Diploma of Beauty Therapy post graduation in the Certificate III in Beauty Services. You will also have the option of looking into pathways into Remedial Massage or Salon Management.
simulated Work-based learning as part of the course
In workplace learning takes place within our simulated student spa environment and also access to the endota network of spas. There is no requirement for work placement hours as part of this course.
Work-based placements during this course
If students study the SHB30121 Certificate III in Beauty Services through the SBAT (School based apprenticeships and traineeships) program, access can be provided to the wider endota Spa network.

Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites or ATAR’s required to study at eWC.
The kit
You will be required to buy a resources pack with the uniform, products and equipment you will need to complete your diploma (total cost $393.90). For further details, and to see a detailed breakdown of resource items, see our tuition fee schedule.
Holidays
Students take a week-long break between terms and a 5-week break at Christmas.
Online learning
Our courses were successfully conducted online during COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria. Our community was supported with live streamed classed, 1:1 support sessions, specialised workshops and an online wellbeing program. If restrictions were to be reinstated, eWC is fully equipped to transition back to online learning quickly and provide students with a supportive and connected online environment.

eWC accepts students from all walks of life. Currently, 10% of students are over the age of 39.

You’ll need to demonstrate the language, learning and numeracy skills that are needed to complete the course. Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements will be advised of the reasons for the outcome, other options that may be available to them and what they can do to meet requirements. A detailed enrolment procedure is available.
endota Wellness College is not CRICOS registered and cannot accept students holding an Australian International Student Visa. Other types of visas may be acceptable, subject to the conditions of the visa.
Units of Competency
To achieve the Certificate III in Beauty Services, you will need to complete a total of 18 units of competency, consisting of 14 core units and 4 elective units (including infection control and complete specialisation groups). See the list of units below.
