This means that upon successful completion of our courses, students receive qualifications that are recognised and accepted across Australia, providing them with the necessary credentials to pursue their chosen career paths.

Our tuition fees may vary for each intake and are subject to change. For the September 2024 intake, the fees are as follows:

Is there any funding assistance for your courses? What are the payment options?
Yes, we offer funding assistance options for our diploma courses. As approved providers of VET Student Loans for eligible applicants and Skills First funding for eligible VIC applicants, students may access financial support to help cover the cost of tuition fees. Additionally, we offer payment plans tailored to individual needs, allowing students to spread the balance of their tuition fees over the duration of their study period.
What is VSL and am I eligible?
VET Student Loans is a government loan program that assists eligible students in paying for their vocational education and training (VET) courses. Under this program, students can borrow funds from the Australian Government to cover some or all the upfront tuition fees for approved VET courses. The loan is repaid gradually once the student’s income reaches a certain threshold, similar to the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) for university students. Eligibility criteria apply, and students must meet certain requirements to qualify for a VET Student Loan.
Only eligible students will be approved for a VET Student Loan. You are eligible if you:
- Are an Australian citizen or permanent humanitarian visa holder (resident in Australia for the duration of the unit); or are a qualifying New Zealand citizen.
- AND Are a full fee-paying/fee for service or government subsidised student studying a diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate, or graduate diploma level course at an approved VET Student Loan provider;
- AND Have not exceeded the HELP limit (see below);
- AND Meet the tax file number (TFN) requirements: OR if you don’t have a TFN you can give your provider a Certificate of Application for a TFN. This certificate is available from the Australian Taxation Office after you have applied for a TFN.
- AND Provide a copy of your Senior Secondary School Certificate (Year 12 Certificate); or an International Baccalaureate Diploma; or an Australian Quality Framework Certificate IV qualification or higher, at a level in a framework that preceded the AQF that is equivalent to level 4 or above; or display competence in numeracy and reading at the Australian Core Skills Framework (ASCF) exit level 3.
What are the entry requirements for your courses?
There are no pre-requisites or ATAR’s required to study at eWC.
However, there is a minimum age criterion for course enrolment, which is 16 years old. Additionally, possessing a Year 12 certificate or a Cert IV qualification or higher can expedite your application process. Otherwise, applicants may need to undertake and pass an ACER test.
Do you offer practical training or work placements?
Yes, we offer practical training as an integral part of our courses. All practical elements of the training are incorporated into the diploma curriculum and take place on campus in our student spa and clinic. This hands-on training provides students with real-life experience working with clients in a simulated work environment. As a result, students are not required to seek additional work placements outside of their scheduled training days. Our focus is on providing comprehensive practical training to ensure that students graduate with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their chosen field.
What are the career prospects after completing a course?
A SHB50121 Diploma of Beauty Therapy equips you with various roles in the beauty industry, such as working in spas, salons, or skincare clinics. You can become a skincare specialist, a beauty business owner, makeup artist or even a beauty consult.
