Makeup Skills Short Course
Begin your journey in the beauty and wellness industry with a Summer Makeup course. Commencing on the 5th of January and running over 8 days, you’ll have the chance to experience hands-on training within Australia’s largest spa-network. Train with industry experts, discover how to design and apply makeup, learn makeup for photography and explore remedial camouflage makeup.
This short course is only open to NSW Year 11 & 12 students, and recent high school graduates under the age of 20.

WHERE
This program runs at our NSW, Alexandria Campus.
HOW LONG
This program runs over 5 weeks. Consisting of two 8 hour days per week, for 3 weeks, with up to 4 hours of weekly at-home study. The final 2 weeks will consist of single day on campus assessments.

During this short course, you will be assessed under the guidance of our trainers to achieve successful units of competency. If you wish to continue your studies in Beauty Therapy, you may be eligible to apply for a credit of completed units.
Cost
This program is NSW Smart and Skilled funded, available to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, which can be found here. There are no upfront costs and all training materials are provided by endota Wellness College.
UNITS OF COMPETENCY
Upon completing this short course, you will have achieved three units of competency covered in the SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy (Release 1):
SHBBMUP002 Design and apply make-up
SHBBMUP003 Design and apply make-up for photography
SHBBMUP004 Design and apply remedial camouflage make-up

You’ll need to demonstrate the language, learning and numeracy skills that are needed to complete the course. Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements will be advised of the reasons for the outcome, other options that may be available to them and what they can do to meet requirements.
