Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015)

Well-trained therapists are highly sought after and at endota Wellness College a direct, immersive and collaborative approach with industry produces skilled remedial massage therapists that are employed across a broad range of fields. These include private practice, aged care facilities, wellness resorts, sporting organisations, salons and spas.
To achieve the Diploma of Remedial Massage, a total of 21 units of competency must be completed. This consists of 16 core units and 5 elective units. A comprehensive list of the units of competency may be found below.
Who should apply?
This program is open for enrolments to commence on January 29th, 2019. This program is delivered at our Victorian campus.
Standard duration is 4 days per week for a period of 12 months or 2 nights per week for 18 months, plus additional student clinic hours. Duration may vary depending upon the individual cohort and workplace training arrangements.
Students participating in this diploma program must also complete a minimum 200 hours of clinical practice, providing remedial massage services to clients. At least 150 of these hours must be in our endota Wellness College student-run spa and supervised by an assessor.

Payment plans are available that allow you to pay your tuition fees in instalments and by specified due dates. This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Eligibility criteria apply. The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.
HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage has two intakes per year. Students have a one week break between terms and a Christmas break. Courses are scheduled by term and are scheduled as closely to the state/territory school holidays as possible. In some instances, term dates may be extended beyond the state/territory term periods. Both daytime and evening programs are available.
Resource costs vary from year to year. In 2019 these costs are: Robe and headband $43.55, full components of a therapist uniform $220 and the Complete Anatomy resource $45. First aid texbook $9.95, Massage therapy textbook $110.51 and Law and Ethics textbook $ 38.77 are also required to be purchased through an external provider. (Textbook prices are subject to change).
Students will need to demonstrate a level of language, learning and numeracy competency suitable to this course.
endota Wellness College campuses are located Mitchell, ACT and Docklands, VIC. Our study environments consider student wellness and are bright and spacious with meditation sessions to start each day. We provide students with beautiful, state-of-the-art facilities including three purpose-built makeup training studios, a photographic studio, multi-purpose area and large beauty treatment room. Each student has an individual workstation that includes industry standard equipment, products and tools. Direct access to a student-run spa provides a practical way to gain work experience and master techniques.

endota Wellness College online
An online system at endota Wellness College provides students with access to all their course materials in a single place. This includes textbooks, presentations, images and course notes. We also provide access to assignments and have an easy upload system for assessment submission. This complements your class-room learning and ensures you have all the information you need at your finger tips. Students need to have a tablet or laptop to access endota Wellness College’s learning management systems, a mobile phone is not an acceptable device.
VET Student Loans
endota Wellness College is an approved provider of VET Student Loans. This means eligible students can defer payment of their tuition fees by accessing a government loan. It forms part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Students repay their loan through the tax system, once they are earning the minimum threshold level for repayment, which is $45,881 for the 2019-20 income year.
A VET Student Loan remains a personal debt obligation until it is repaid to the Commonwealth. VET Student Loans will only be approved for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Only a limited number of high quality providers have been approved. This means you can be rest assured that endota Wellness College is a trusted, quality training provider and your learning is in good hands.

Recognition of prior learning
Previous work experience or training courses may enable us to deem you competent in certain areas, which will allow exemption from some modules. This process is referred to as ‘Recognition of Prior Learning‘ (RPL). As a Registered Training Organisation, delivering nationally recognised training, endota Wellness College can assist you with this process. Please contact a course advisor to request an application form. Application for RPL must occur prior to course commencement.
